Pineapple and Digestion
Are there any foods out there that HELP you with your digestion? I’m a big fan of pinepple for this! Pineapple contains an enzyme called bromelain, which helps to break down proteins. It’s also full of vitamin C and helps to fight inflammation, which we can all use this time of year!
My favorite ways to add pineapple to my diet:
Chopped up, as a snack
In a salsa
In a smoothie
And for my Low FODMAP friends out there, you’re good eating up to a cup per day!
